If you're going to purchase a cordless tool, then you should really think about getting one with Lithium ion batteries. They cost more, and it's easy to think you could just buy a cheaper model and get a spare battery, but it's not the same. Lithium ion batteries are a true hassle free solution.

Another electric car may be the Ford Focus EV which is available in a limited edition. The drive train from the Ford is manufactured by Magna International. Consequently, the Focus may have one hundred mile range and you will be designed with lithium-ion batteries. This car is going to be sold for a price tag around $30,000.

Use the charger that you got with the netbook and as long as possible avoid using re-manufactured unit. Most automakers would like to see Lithium-Ion battery packs (you probably have a Li-Ion battery in your cell phone) which can store more energy. But as of right now, they are still too volatile/unreliable when placed in large packs for major carmakers to use. But that should be changing in the next few years. Both GM (with their Plug-In Saturn Vue) and Toyota (next generation Prius/ Hybrid Systems) believe the next generation of hybrids will come with Li-Ion battery packs.
